Personal injury suit brought against Lyondell Chemical, Maxim Crane Works

HOUSTON - The Lyondell Chemical Company and Maxim Crane Works have been named as defendants in a personal injury lawsuit seeking more than $1 million in damages. 

Eduardo Trevino filed the lawsuit on April 4 in Harris County District Court. 

According to the lawsuit, on July 11 Trevino was working on-site at Lyondell’s construction site when a crane owned by Maxim fell over and caused a chain reaction that caused another object to strike the structure Trevino was in to topple over.  

The lawsuit is accusing the defendants of negligence and gross negligence and seeks punitive damages. 

Trevino is also suing for his past and future impairment, medical expenses, loss of earning capacity and loss of household services. 

Houston attorneys Tony Buzbee and Christopher Leavitt represent him.
