HOUSTON — A Houston Home Depot worker alleges he was instructed to lift a heavy object without proper equipment or tools which caused him to suffer serious injuries.

Rodriguez claims in his complaint that he was working at the Home Depot on Fallbrook Drive in Houston on Jan. 16, 2021. He alleges that he was instructed to lift "a heavy object" which caused him to suffer injuries.

Rodriguez claims Home Depot's negligence for failing to provide a safe work environment and did not provide the proper tools for him to safely discharge the tasks he was assigned. He also claims as a result of his injuries, he suffered pain, mental anguish, impairment, lost wages and incurred medical expenses.
