HOUSTON — A Houston dentist is being accused of performing unnecessary and unsafe work on a patient which caused the patient injuries.

Anna Trammel filed a complaint Nov. 7 in Harris County District Court against Syed Saif and Brownstone Dental alleging medical malpractice, fraud and other claims.

According to Trammel's complaint, she entered into an agreement for dental services with the defendants in March of 2019. She alleges that Saif performed unnecessary dental work on her and fraudulently represented that the dental work was safe and necessary. Trammel claims that soon after the dental work was performed by Saif, she developed "serious dental pains."

She further claims that she relied on the defendants' misrepresentations and that they have failed to compensate her for her damages which has left her unable to complete her dental work. Trammel also claims in her suit that the defendants were sent a statutory demand on May 18, 2022, and that the defendants have failed to cover the entire loss under their contract and compensate her for negligent services which they provided.

Trammel seeks monetary relief between $250,000 and $1 million, interest and all other just relief. She is represented by Attorney Nicholas Saranto in League City.
