GALVESTON — Sunbelt Rentals alleges it is owed more than $46,000 after an industrial company failed to pay for rental equipment.

Sunbelt Rentals Inc., filed a complaint Dec. 27 in Galveston County District Court against Her Industrial Services LLC and Elizabeth Patin alleging breach of contract and other claims.

Sunbelt alleges in its complaint that it entered into an agreement with Her Industrial in August of 2020, to provide rental equipment on credit which Her Industrial used for various projects in Galveston County. Sunbelt claims they provided Her with the equipment from October 2021 through March of 2022 and submitted invoices to Her for the use of the equipment.

They allege that Her Industrial has failed to pay a balance of at least $46,121.86 and are in breach of their rental contract. Sunbelt claims Her Industrial accepted the benefits of the materials they supplied and despite receiving delinquency notices, has failed and refused to pay the balance on their account.

Sunbelt seeks monetary relief, interest and all other just relief. They are represented by Monica Schulz Orlando of Orlando & Orlando LLP in Houston.
