GALVESTON — A League City resident alleges a driver negligently crashed his vehicle into his residence and caused more than $55,000 in structural damage to his home.

Tommie Lee Waldon filed a complaint June 14 in Galveston County District Court against Bryan Le Scheuler alleging negligence.

Waldon, according to his complaint, resides at a property in League City. He claims that on Dec. 22, 2022, Scheuler, who was driving his Chevy Corvette on Landing Boulevard, attempted to make a left turn at too fast a speed, lost control of the car, drove over the sidewalk, hit several trees and collided with his residence.

Waldon claims Scheuler caused severe structural damage to his residence in excess of $55,510. He also claims Scheuler's negligence for failing to maintain a proper lookout, maintain proper control of his vehicle and failed to drive at a safe speed.

Waldon seeks monetary relief of $250,000 or less, interest and all other just relief. He is represented by Kyle Dickson, Philip Nolen and Sarbjit Nagi of Murray Lobb PLLC in Houston.
