HOUSTON - A woman is claiming she slipped and fell on a clear substance while at a Joe V’s Smart Shop.
Alleging negligence, Yolanda Hernandez Sanchez filed suit against H-E-B (Joe V’s) on Jan. 18 in Jefferson County District Court.
According to the lawsuit, on Oct. 3, 2022, the plaintiff was at a Houston Joe V’s near the hair section area when she slipped and fell on a clear substance. There were no warning signs placed near the slippery substance.
The plaintiff is seeking less than $73,000 in damages.
