Former Justice Douglas Lang, now senior counsel at Thompson Coburn, was named a recipient of the “Outstanding 50 Year Lawyer Award” by the Texas Bar Foundation.
The award recognizes attorneys whose practice spanned at least 50 years, as of January 1 of the year of the award, and who adhere to the highest principles and traditions of the legal profession and service to the public. The Texas Bar Foundation established the award in 1974.
