South Texas College of Law Houston’s perennial powerhouse Advocacy Program ranked 6th in the nation among law schools, moving up three places in the 2024-25 U.S. News Best Grad Schools specialty rankings; South Texas is one of only two Texas law schools in the Top 10.
Other nationally ranked specialty programs at STCL Houston include Dispute Resolution, which moved up three places to rank 18th (one of only two Texas law schools in the Top 20) and Legal Writing, which increased its ranking by 20 places to 32d (one of only four Texas law schools in the Top 40).
