In a lawsuit filed in the County Civil Court at Law No. 1 of Harris County, Texas (Cause No. 1226512), plaintiff Harris County is suing defendant Allan Quintin Peralta-Coto. The case was filed on April 19, 2024 and pertains to damages incurred by the county due to an incident involving Peralta-Coto.

The court filing reveals that the incident occurred on March 11, 2021, when Peralta-Coto was involved in a crash that caused $32,353.50 in damages to Harris County. The plaintiff's lawyer asserts that Peralta-Coto was driving without a driver’s license or proof of financial responsibility and lacked the required Commercial Driver's License (CDL) medical certification.

Harris County is seeking monetary relief of $100 plus penalties, court costs, prejudgment interest, and post-judgment interest. They claim that despite sending one or more demands for reimbursement to Peralta-Coto, the amount remains outstanding which led to the filing of this lawsuit.
