Folded carpet results in trip & fall lawsuit against Sellers Bros.

HOUSTON - A trip and fall lawsuit seeking up to $1 million in damages has been brought against Sellers Bros. 

Alleging negligence, Maria Guadalupe Ochoa filed the suit June 5 in Harris County District Court, also naming SB Houston #1 as a defendant. 

According to the lawsuit, on April 25, 2023, Ochoa was at Sellers store when she tripped and fell on carpet that was folded at the exit. 

The suit alleges the defendants owed her a duty to keep the premises in a reasonably safe condition and give adequate warning of any dangers.
