Global law firm Reed Smith today announced that Gillian Ward, a senior leader with nearly two decades in C-level roles in law firms, has joined the firm as chief marketing and business development officer, a role that has been redefined to reflect the firm’s strategic focus on business development. Ward will lead a global team of more than 100 professionals focused on strengthening client relationships, creating market opportunities, and elevating the firm’s brand.
Ward brings more than 30 years of experience to Reed Smith, along with a global perspective gained from senior positions in international businesses across the U.S., Canada and the UK. She is an action-oriented, outcomes-driven leader with deep expertise in client growth, strategic formulation and implementation, brand building, marketing, reputation management and operations.
