The University of Houston Law Alumni Association will recognize several University of Houston Law Center alumni, faculty and friends with a variety of accolades at its 48th Annual Law Gala & Auction in April. These awards honor individuals who have positively impacted and enhanced the Law Center and the legal profession through their service and contributions.
"The UH Law Center has a proud tradition of excellence, and this year’s honorees exemplify the dedication, leadership, and impact that define our community," said Kris Thomas, President of the UH Law Alumni Board. "We are thrilled to celebrate their achievements and recognize their invaluable contributions to the legal profession and our institution."
The 2024-2025 award recipients are:

Barrier Baker Award: DeAndrea C. Washington (J.D. ’09)

Honorary Alumnus Award: Benny Agosto Jr.
James M. Roach Law Fund Volunteer Award: Megan A. Daic (J.D. ’13)

Awards will be presented at the 48th Annual Law Gala & Auction on Saturday, April 5 at the Post Oak Hotel at Uptown Houston.
