DALLAS - Yesterday, the Fifth Court of Appeals reversed a ruling granting Boeing’s plea to the jurisdiction on claims the Southwest Airlines Pilots Association asserted on its on behalf while affirming the dismissal of claims SWAPA brought on the behalf of its members.
WACO – Southwest Airlines is asking a federal court to dismiss, or at the very least transfer, a recent lawsuit claiming Boeing’s 737 Max Jet was unsafe to fly – litigation that is similar to a complaint filed two years ago.
HOUSTON – A motion to compel production of documents was denied earlier this week in a suit accusing Boeing and Southwest Airlines of colluding to cover up fatal defects in an aircraft.

DALLAS — Southwest Airlines is facing a class action by stock holders alleging the airline made false public statements about its safety issues and compliance with governmental regulations that caused the market value of their stock to drop.

DALLAS – On Feb., 6 a petition was signed by more than 7,000 of the Southwest Airlines flight attendants in the Transport Workers Union Local 556, demanding the recall of 12 of the executive board members over alleged violations of the constitution and bylaws of the Transport Workers Union of America.
