Two Galveston County residents are suing over claims they were injured when their vehicle was rear-ended on FM 646.
Brenda L. Lobo and Sergio G. Morales filed a lawsuit Oct. 28 in Galveston County District Court against Anna M. Gonzales, citing negligence.
According to the complaint, Lobo was driving westbound on FM 646 in League City, and Morales was a passenger in her vehicle on Jan. 22 when she came to a stop at a red light at the intersection with South Shore Boulevard. The suit states Gonzales failed to control her speed and rear-ended the plaintiffs’ vehicle.
The plaintiffs say they sustained injuries and have suffered a loss of earning capacity, and Gonzales is accused of negligence.
The plaintiffs seek more than $200,000 in damages, including actual damages, medical expenses, interest and costs of suit. They are represented by attorney Maria Orozco of Lafitte, Abbott, Wingo, Rehfeld & Holloway in Garland.
