A Jefferson County man is suing over claims he was injured in a collision with a Hardin County driver.
Ernest Kreuzer filed a lawsuit Sept. 23 in Jefferson County District Court against Steven Robert McBride, citing negligence.
According to the complaint, Kreuzer was driving eastbound on the Cardinal Drive service road approaching Avenue A on Feb. 28, when McBride, driving northbound on Avenue A, ran the red light and struck Kreuzer's vehicle in the intersection. Kreuzer says he sustained injuries, and McBride is accused of negligence in disregarding a traffic signal and failing to yield right of way.
Kreuzer seeks more than $100,000 in damages, including medical expenses, interest and court costs. He is represented by attorneys David E. Bernsen and Cade Bernsen of The Bernsen Law Firm in Beaumont.
