A Hardin County man is suing over claims he was injured when a car struck his motorcycle.
Casey J. Meaux filed a lawsuit Oct. 27 in Jefferson County District Court against Alexander I. and Paula Savoie, citing negligence.
According to the complaint, Meaux was driving his motorcycle Jan. 9, 2014, when he was struck by a vehicle driven by Alexander Savoie and owned by Paula Savoie and sustained injuries and damages. Alexander Savoie is accused of negligence, and Paula Savoie is accused of negligent entrustment of a motor vehicle.
Meaux seeks actual damages, medical expenses, loss of wages, interest and costs of court. He is represented by attorney Jason L. Cansler of Beaumont.
