Mother alleges damages in car accident

A Harris County woman sued a driver, alleging damages incurred in a motor vehicle accident.

Amy Grizzle Kane of Houston, individually and on behalf of a minor child, filed a lawsuit Jan. 7 in Galveston County District Court against Teri Mack of San Leon, alleging damages from a traffic incident.

According to the complaint, on June 9, 2014, Kane was traveling southbound in the 6700 block of Mapleridge with her child when Mack ran a red light and failed to brake to avoid collision. The suit states the collision resulted in bodily injuries.

Kane seeks compensation for medical expenses, physical and mental pain and impairment and diminished earning capacity. She is represented by attorneys W. Mark Lanier, Charles F. Herd Jr. and Lawrence P. Wilson of the Lanier Law Firm in Houston.
