    On Nov. 4, 2006, the plaintiff was riding in a truck that had defendants' hoop steps installed. As he was exiting the vehicle, the steps allegedly broke in half, causing the plaintiff to fall to the ground.

    The plaintiff alleges the defendants negligently installed the steps and is suing for past and future medical expenses, mental anguish and impairment, plus actual damages and attorneys' fees.

    The plaintiff claims he was injured on the job and was fired for filing for a worker's compensation claim. The suit does not state how or when he was injured. He was fired on Sept. 22, 2008.

    The plaintiff is suing for punitive damages and lost wages.

    On March 25 Guest was driving east on FM 365 in Port Arthur with her mother, Guidry, when Watson veered into oncoming traffic and struck her vehicle.

    The plaintiffs allege the defendant negligently failed to keep a proper lookout and is suing for past and future medical expenses, mental anguish and impairment, plus actual damages and attorneys' fees.

    On Feb. 12, 2007, Dyke, a KCS employee, claims he was injured while cleaning the terminals on a battery set.

    On Nov. 13, 2006, the plaintiff was traveling on the Eastex Freeway when Jordan, driving a vehicle owned by Adams, slammed into him.

    On Nov. 3, 2006, the plaintiff was driving on Highway 69 in Beaumont when a tractor trailer being driven by Young switched lanes and struck him.

    The plaintiff is also suing the driver's employer for negligently hiring him. The plaintiff's wife is also a party in the suit, claiming she suffered loss of services.
