Five Beaumont residents are suing the construction company that they say damaged their cars while performing road work.
Justin Feldschau, Kim Stewart, James Johnson, John Kocurek and Gerald Alfaro filed a lawsuit Sept. 14 against LD Construction.
The plaintiffs claim their vehicles were permanently damaged on March 6 as a result of roadwork LD Construction was performing on Tolivar Road in Beaumont.
In addition to the damage caused to their vehicles, the plaintiffs blame LD construction for causing a loss of value to their automobiles.
They are seeking an unspecified judgment and other relief to which they may be entitled.
Christopher T. Kirchmer of Provost and Umphrey Law Firm in Beaumont will be representing them.
The case has been assigned to Judge Gary Sanderson.
