A total of three new lawsuits regarding hurricane damage claims were filed against insurance companies in Jefferson County District Court, Dec. 11-17, 2009.
The following complaints were filed:
Elizabeth Turley of 3790 Wheat in Beaumont alleges Texas Windstorm Insurance Association denied her claim for damages caused to her property after Hurricane Ike struck on Sept. 13, 2008. Turley will be represented by John Smith of Bush Lewis in Beaumont. Jefferson County District Court case number: B185-496.
Sprint Management Services of 13511 FM 365 in Beaumont alleges Texas Windstorm Insurance Association denied its claim for damages caused to its property after Hurricane Ike struck on Sept. 13, 2008. SMS will be represented by Trey Henderson of Doyle, Restrepo, Harvin and Robbins. Jefferson County District Court case number: A185-495.
Loretta Bodwin of 2535 Gladys Ave. in Beaumont alleges Texas Windstorm Insurance Association denied her claim for damages caused to her property after Hurricane Ike struck on Sept. 13, 2008. Bodwin will be represented by Kenneth W. Lewis of Bush Lewis in Beaumont and by Scott Renick in Beaumont. Jefferson County Circuit Court case number: A185-476.
