A bank claims a Beaumont man defaulted on loan payments for a $100,000 note.
JP Morgan Chase Bank filed a lawsuit Feb. 1 in Jefferson County District Court against Eddie Senigaur.
The bank claims Senigaur executed a promissory note for $100,000 on April 26, 2006, and agreed to repay the note in monthly payments.
However, Senigaur defaulted on the note payments and has refused to cure the amount he owes despite demand from the bank, according to the complaint.
In addition to the amount it claims Senigaur owes it, JP Morgan seeks post-judgment interest at the highest rate allowed by law, attorneys' fees, costs and other relief the court deems just.
K. Mark Vincent, Scott E. Hayes and M. Brandon Waddell of Vincent, Lopez, Serafino and Jenevein in Dallas will be representing it.
The case has been assigned to Judge Bob Wortham, 58th District Court.
