Hoping to recover $20,000 for services rendered, Progressive Electrical Contractors has filed suit against Sai Development and Osman Smith. owners of the Comfort Suites in Orange.
The suit was filed April 27 in Orange County District Court.
According to the suit, Progressive Electrical and Sai entered into a contract with Sai Development and Swati to provide electrical services and materials for the project know as "Comfort Suites -- Orange," located off of Highway 62.
"However, when the invoices were presented to defendants to make payments, defendants failed and refused to do so," the suit says. "The remaining balance after some partial payments is $20,000."
The plaintiff is seeking actual damages and attorney's fees.
The company is represented by Houston attorney Andrew Whang of the Lin, Whang & Valdez law firm.
The case has been assigned to Judge Buddy Hahn, 260th Judicial District.
