As Morgan Granger was leaving a private residence, he allegedly pulled out in front of Diana Daigle, causing the two motorists to collide.
Daigle filed suit against Morgan and Ed Granger on May 17 in Orange County District Court.
In her suit, Daigle says that on June 26, 2008, she was traveling on Highway 62 when Morgan Granger, driving a vehicle owned by Ed Granger, "failed to yield the right of way when exiting a private road" and entered her lane, "causing the vehicles to slam into each other."
Daigle also accuses Morgan of failing to keep a proper lookout.
She is suing for past and future mental anguish, medical expenses and lost wages, plus all court costs.
The plaintiff is represented by attorney Jonathan Juhan.
The case has been assigned to Judge Pat Clark, 128th Judicial District.
