Alleging that it breached its contract, Baker Oilfield has filed suit against ERG Resources in hopes of recovering more than $20,000 for past services rendered.
The suit was filed June 7 in Orange County District Court.
Throughout December 2008, Baker Oilfield performed labor and provided services for ERG Resources. When the company didn't pay up, Baker Oilfield filed a lien last June.
Now, Baker Oilfield is alleging in its civil suit that ERG owes $21,085 for past services rendered.
The company is also asking the court to award it $16,000 in attorney's fees.
Baker Oilfield is represented by attorney Mile Fielder of the Fielder & Gunter law firm.
The case has been assigned to Judge Buddy Hahn, 260th Judicial District.
