A tire supply company claims a Beaumont business owes it more than $60,000 for materials it supplied.
ABC Tire Group filed a lawsuit June 10 in Jefferson County District Court against Thomas Darr, doing business as Texas Industrial Tire.
ABC claims it delivered supplies to Texas Industrial Tire in August, September and October of 2007, but still has not received payment for the materials.
"There remains an outstanding balance of $68,830.09," the suit states.
In addition to the money it is owed, ABC seeks attorney's fees, pre- and post-judgment interest at the highest legal rate and other relief to which it may be entitled.
Jack J. Garland Jr. of Garland Law Firm in Houston will be representing ABC.
The case has been assigned to Judge Milton Shuffield, 136th District Court.
