A total of four new complaints against insurance companies over Hurricane Ike damage claims have been filed in Jefferson County District Court, June 14-18, 2010.
The following lawsuits have been filed:
Ben P. Mueller of 7103 Wilford Road in Beaumont alleges Consumers County Mutual Insurance Company minimized his claim for damages caused to his home after Hurricane Ike struck on Sept. 13, 2008. Mueller will be represented by John S. Morgan of Harris, Duesler and Hatfield in Beaumont. Jefferson County District Court case number: B187-093.
Franklin Paul of 5355 Idylwood St. in Beaumont alleges Texas Windstorm Insurance Association denied his claim for roof, wind, water and structural damages caused to his property after Hurricane Ike struck on Sept. 13, 2008. Paul will be represented by Gregory F. Cox of The Mostyn Law Firm in Beaumont. Jefferson County District Court case number: B187-089.
Juanita Scott of 2025 Thomas Blvd. in Port Arthur alleges Texas Windstorm Insurance Association denied a portion of her claim for damages caused to her property after Hurricane Ike struck on Sept. 13, 2008. Scott will be represented by Rocky Lawdermilk of Beaumont. Jefferson County District Court case number: E187-101.
Jerome Webre of 2803 Nashville Ave. in Nederland alleges Texas Windstorm Insurance Association denied his claim for roof, wind, water, structural and contents damages caused to his property after Hurricane Ike struck on Sept. 13, 2008. Webre will be represented by Michael R. Ramsey of The Mostyn Law Firm in Beaumont. Jefferson County District Court case number: D187-108.
