Transit Mix Concrete and Materials Co. filed a lawsuit June 17 in Jefferson County District Court against Sendero Industries and Travelers Casualty and Surety Co. claiming it is owed more than $60,000.
Transit Mix claims it delivered goods and performed services between January and March to Sendero, but the company has refused to reimburse Transit Mix $64,969.90 for the goods and services.
Sendero posted a payment bond with Travelers to secure the payment of the goods and services, but Transit Mix claims it still has received no payments.
Transit Mix seeks a judgment in excess of the minimum jurisdictional limits of Jefferson County District Court, plus attorney's fees, pre- and post-judgment interest, costs and other relief the court deems just.
Bill Richey of Griffin and Matthews in Beaumont will be representing it.
The case has been assigned to Judge Bob Wortham, 58th District Court.
