Compass Bank has filed suit against Arthur Longron III and his son, Arthur Longron IV, in hopes of recovering more than $18,000 on a truck loan.
The suit was filed Aug. 31 in Orange County District Court.
Court papers show the Longrons executed a promissory note with Compass in order to purchase a 2007 Chevy Avalanche pickup.
Since signing the contract, the defendants have stopped making payments and defaulted. The payoff through Aug. 6 is $18,623.79, the suit states.
Compass is suing for actual damages, plus $1,500 for attorney's fees.
The lender is represented by Frisco attorney Shawn Brady of the Messer, Campbell & Brady law firm.
Judge Pat Clark, 128th District Court, has been assigned to the case.
