In July, International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Union Local 479 sued Savants Electric and Assured Electrical Systems, alleging the Jefferson County company breached its obligations.
On Oct. 19 IBEW non-suited both defendants, court records show.
Assured was a signatory contractor which had obligations to pay standard wages, benefits and training, according to the complaint.
IBEW alleged in its suit that Assured and its subsidiary, Savants Electric, breached these obligations.
"After due notice and opportunity to be heard, the Labor/Management Committee of IBEW and NECA rendered judgment against all Defendants finding that they violated terms of the agreements and were liable for fines and penalties," the complaint says.
The defendants had denied the allegations in their answer to the suit.
They were represented by Beaumont attorney Mitch Templeton of the Chambers, Templeton, Thomas & Brinkley law firm.
John Werner of Reaud, Morgan and Quinn in Beaumont represented IBEW.
The case was assigned to Judge Donald Floyd, 172nd District Court.
