Helen Hobbs has filed suit against AAA Service Co. and one of its employees, Louis Conner, who allegedly ran a stop sign and struck her vehicle.
The suit was filed Nov. 19 in Jefferson County District Court.
Court papers show Hobbs was traveling south on Highway 347 in Nederland when Conner, traveling east on Franklin Street, ran a stop sign and struck her vehicle.
Hobbs is accusing AAA Service of negligent entrustment and also accuses Conner of negligently failing to keep a proper lookout and yield the right of way.
She is seeking damages for her alleged mental anguish, medical expenses, impairment and lost wages.
Hobbs is represented by Beaumont attorney Joshua Heinz of Benckenstein & Oxford.
Judge Milton Shuffield, 136th District Court, has been assigned to the case.
