Beaumont resident Betty Bass is suing Cooper US for an automobile collision which occurred two years ago.
The suit was filed Nov. 19 in Jefferson County District Court. Bryan Moravits is also named as a defendant in the suit.
According to the suit, on Nov. 20, 2008, Bass was traveling was on Phelan Boulevard when Moravits, who was operating a vehicle owned by Cooper US, allegedly failed to control his speed and rammed his vehicle into the back of plaintiff's, pushing it into the vehicle in front of her.
In her suit, Bass also accuses Conner of negligently failing to keep a proper lookout.
She is seeking damages for her alleged mental anguish, medical expenses, impairment and lost wages.
Bass is represented by Beaumont attorney David Starnes.
Judge Bob Wortham, 58th District Court, has been assigned to the case.
