A total of three new lawsuits against insurance companies over Hurricane Ike damage claims have been filed in Jefferson County District Court, Feb. 21-25, 2011.
The following complaints have been filed:
Ethel Foux of 12470 Old Sour Lake Road in Beaumont alleges Farmers Insurance Exchange denied her claim for foundation, roof, structure, water and wind damages caused to her property after Hurricane Ike struck on Sept. 13, 2008. Foux will be represented by J. Steve Mostyn of The Mostyn Law Firm in Houston. Jefferson County District Court case number: D189-409.
Juan Garcia, Maricela Cardenas Garcia and Teresa Garcia of 1042 Duff Drive in Port Arthur allege Texas Windstorm Insurance Association denied his claim for contents, foundation, roof, structure, water and wind damages caused to their property after Hurricane Ike struck on Sept. 13, 2008. The Garcias will be represented by Michael R. Ramsey of The Mostyn Law Firm in Beaumont. Jefferson County District Court case number: D189-399.
Lora Williams of 2936 9th St. in Port Arthur alleges Texas Windstorm Insurance Association denied her claim for contents, foundation, roof, structure, water and wind damages caused to her property after Hurricane Ike struck on Sept. 13, 2008.
