Suit alleges woman pulled out into traffic

Area resident Caitlin Jones has filed suit against Juanita Dulaney, a Port Neches local, for allegedly pulling out into her lane of traffic and causing an automobile collision.

The suit was filed March 21 in Jefferson County District Court.

Court records show that on April 15, 2010, Jones was traveling on FM 366 in Port Neches when "suddenly and without warning Dulaney pulled out and into her lane of traffic, causing a collision."

In her suit, Jones alleges Dulaney negligently failed to keep a proper lookout.

The plaintiff is suing for her alleged past and future medical expenses, mental anguish, pain, impairment, disfigurement and lost wages, plus all court costs.

Beaumont attorney Paul Ferguson Jr. of Provost Umphrey represents her.

Judge Donald Floyd, 172nd District Court, has been assigned to the case.
