A woman alleging she was rear-ended last June has filed suit against a Port Neches man.
Courtney Harris filed suit against David Nelson on March 23 in Jefferson County District Court.
According to Harris's petition, Nelson rear-ended her on June 12, 2010, when he failed to stop.
The suit does not state where the collision occurred how Harris was injured.
The suit does, however, accuse Nelson of negligently failing to keep a proper lookout, apply his brakes to avoid the collision and yield.
The plaintiff is suing for her alleged past and future medical expenses, mental anguish, pain, impairment, disfigurement and lost wages, plus all court costs.
Beaumont attorney John Morgan represents her.
Judge Gary Sanderson, 6oth District Court, has been assigned to the case.
