Community Bank of Texas has filed suit against Craig Landry and his company, AAA Coastline Disaster Kleanup, alleging the defendants have defaulted on a $30,000 loan.
The suit was filed May 13 in Jefferson County District Court.
According to the lawsuit, on June 15, 2010, the parties entered into a universal note security agreement for the amount of $30,000.
"Defendants have defaulted by failing to make payments on the loan," the suit states, adding that Landry has not made a single payment and now owes an additional $1,626.90 in accrued interest.
The lender alleges Landry breached his contract and is suing for actual and consequential damages, plus attorney's fees.
Attorney John Parsons of the Beaumont law firm Lindsay, Lindsay & Parsons represents Community Bank.
Judge Bob Wortham, 58th District Court, has been assigned to the case.
