A wholesale outlet filed suit against the Houston woman who it claims failed to repay her loan of more than $20,000.
Starco Impex, doing business as Wholesale Outlet, filed a lawsuit July 6 in Jefferson County District Court against Gino Ciaschetti.
In its complaint, Starco claims it lent Ciaschetti $22,098 on July 21 in the form of a promissory note.
Since then, however, Ciaschetti has failed to make any attempt to repay Starco, according to the complaint.
In addition to the money it says Ciaschetti owes it, Starco seeks a judgment within the jurisdictional limits of Jefferson County District Court, plus pre- and post-judgment interest, court costs and other relief the court deems just.
John Werner of Reaud, Morgan and Quinn in Beaumont will be representing it.
The case has been assigned to Judge Bob Wortham, 58th District Court.
