Alleging injuries from an automobile collision, Port Arthur resident Sheila Trahan has filed suit against Rodney Thrailkill and his employer, Chica and Associates.
The suit was filed Aug. 1 in Jefferson County District Court.
According to the lawsuit, on Jan. 4 Thrailkill allegedly failed to control his speed and collided with Trahan.
The suit does not state where or how the incident occurred.
However, the suit does fault Thrailkill with negligently speeding and failing to keep a proper lookout and also blames Chica for hiring and training him.
The plaintiff is suing for her alleged past and future medical expenses, mental anguish, pain, impairment, disfigurement and lost wages, plus all court costs.
Beaumont attorney Matthew Matheny of Provost Umphrey represents her.
Judge Bob Wortham, 58th District Court, has been assigned to the case.
