Linda Goldstein is suing Port Arthur resident Andy Hernandez for allegedly rear-ending her vehicle in June.
The suit was filed Aug. 22 in Jefferson County District Court.
According to the lawsuit, on June 8 Goldstein was traveling east in the inside lane of Delaware and had slowed to make a turn when Hernandez rear-ended her.
In her suit, Goldstein accuses Hernandez of negligently traveling at excessive speeds, failing to keep a proper lookout and failing to apply his brakes in a timely manner.
The plaintiff is suing for her alleged past and future medical expenses, mental anguish, pain, impairment, disfigurement and lost wages, plus all court costs.
Beaumont attorney Trenton Bond of Portner Bond represents her.
Judge Gary Sanderson, 6oth District Court, has been assigned to the case.
