Employees of Beaumont's Provost Umphrey Law Firm showed their support for the fight against cancer by hitting the pavement in two Breast Cancer Awareness events.
In October, nearly 30 Provost employees “laced up to save lives” and joined nearly 2,000 other Southeast Texans in the “Gift of Life’s” Second Annual Julie Richardson Procter 5K Ribbon Run/Walk, to raise awareness of breast, ovarian and other gynecological cancers.
Another group volunteered to cheer on the runners with pom-poms, clappers and specially-made signs.
Later in the month, another group of almost 30 Provost Umphrey employees joined more than 4,000 Southeast Texans at the American Cancer Society’s Making Strides Against Breast Cancer 5K.
“The staff and attorneys of Provost Umphrey Law Firm are dedicated to serving the needs of Southeast Texans, and we are proud to support organizations like the ‘Gift of Life’ and American Cancer Society that are saving so many lives,” said Debra Felps, of Provost Umphrey.
