Ean Holdings sued for driver's collision

Area resident Elisa Murphy has filed suit against Ean Holdings and one of its drivers, Dennis Delsonter, who allegedly struck Murphy's vehicle nearly two years ago.

The suit was filed Jan. 30 in Jefferson County District Court

According to the lawsuit, on Feb. 9, 2010, Murphy was traveling west on Washington Street when Delsonter, who was driving a truck owned by Ean Holdings, allegedly failed to yield the right of way and struck her vehicle.

The suit further accuses Delsonter of speeding and driving with reckless disregard.

Ean Holdings is faulted with negligent entrusting a vehicle to an incompetent driver.

The plaintiff is suing for her alleged past and future medical expenses, mental anguish, pain, impairment, disfigurement and lost wages, plus all court costs.

Dallas attorney Juan Zamora represents her.

Judge Milton Shuffield, 136th District Court, is assigned to the case.
