Six new lawsuits have been filed in Jefferson County District Court against insurance companies, April 23-May 4, 2012.
The following complaints were filed:
Malcolm and Freda Andrepont of 9620 Shepherd in Beaumont allege Farmers Insurance Exchange, Texas Farmers Insurance Company and Fire Insurance Exchange denied their claim for roof and water damages caused to their property after a wind and hail storm struck on June 6. The Andreponts will be represented by Paul A. Smith Jr. and Carlos E. Solis of Solis and Smith in San Antonio. Jefferson County District Court case number: A192-400.
Donzell and Shaunquina Brown of 2519 Fourth Ave. in Port Arthur allege Farmers Insurance Exchange, Texas Farmers Insurance Company and Fire Insurance Exchange denied their claim for roof and water damages caused to their property after a wind and hail storm struck on June 6. The Browns will be represented by Paul A. Smith Jr. and Carlos E. Solis of Solis and Smith in San Antonio. Jefferson County District Court case number: A192-399.
Ana Figueroa and Jesus Rodriguez of 2501 Sixth Ave. in Port Arthur allege Texas Windstorm Insurance Association denied their claim for contents, structure, water and wind damages caused to their property after Hurricane Ike struck on Sept. 13, 2008. The plaintiffs will be represented by Michael R. Ramsey of The Mostyn Law Firm in Beaumont. Jefferson County District Court case number: D192-414.
Juan P. and Rosa Garcia of 5287 14th St. in Port Arthur allege Fire Insurance Exchange denied their claim for roof and water damages caused to their property after a wind and hail storm struck on June 6. Larry LaBeaux of 285 Rosine St. in Beaumont alleges Texas Windstorm Insurance Association denied his claim for roof and water damages caused to his property after a severe windstorm struck on Aug. 2, 2010.
