Suit alleges motorist failed to yield

Texas resident Alvin Hill is suing Beaumont local Ryan Rogers for injuries he suffered in a motor vehicle collision.

The suit was filed June 11 in Jefferson County District Court.

According to the lawsuit, on July 2, 2010, Rogers filed to yield the right of way and struck a vehicle occupied by Hill.

The suit does not state how or where the incident occurred.

Hill further alleges Rogers negligently failed to pay attention and maintain a proper lookout.

The plaintiff is suing for his alleged past and future medical expenses, mental anguish, pain, impairment, disfigurement and lost wages, plus all court costs.

Houston attorney Carlos Hughes Jr. represents him.

Judge Gary Sanderson, 6oth District Court, is assigned to the case.
