AAA Flood Masters has filed suit against Groves local Barbara Humphrey, alleging she did not pay the company after her home was restored following Hurricane Ike.
The suit was filed July 16 in Jefferson County District Court.
According to the lawsuit, in February 2009 Humphrey signed a contract with AAA Flood Masters to restore her home following Hurricane Ike. The amount of compensation was to be determined later after she received her insurance benefits.

The suit alleges the defendant breached her contract.
The plaintiff is suing for actual damages and attorney's fees.
Port Arthur attorney Richard Lewis of Boneau & Lewis represents the company.
