Alleging he should have been better supervised, Warren Trahan has filed a personal injury suit against Jay's Custom Wheels and Tires.
The petition was filed Aug. 7 in Jefferson County District Court.
According to the lawsuit, on Aug. 9, 2010, Trahan was employed by Jay's Custom Wheels. While going about his assigned duties, he somehow injured his fingers, hand and body in general.
The suit does not state how the alleged injury occurred or what Trahan was doing at the time when the incident occurred.
The suit only alleges the defendant negligently failed to supervise him, provide adequate instruction on how to perform his duties and also failed to provide him with a safe workplace.
The plaintiff is suing for his alleged past and future medical expenses, mental anguish, pain, impairment, disfigurement and lost wages, plus all court costs.
Attorney B. Adam Terrell of Weller, Green, Toups and Terrell in Beaumont will be representing him.
Judge Donald Floyd, 172nd District Court, is assigned to the case.
