Two new insurance lawsuits against insurance companies over wind storm damage claims have been filed in Jefferson County District Court, Oct. 29-Nov. 2, 2012.
The following complaints have been filed:
• Marguerite Powell of 1790 Shirley Circle in Beaumont claims National Specialty Insurance Co. and Sally Andrade denied her claim for roof and water damages caused to her property after a wind and hailstorm struck on June 6, 2011. Powell will be represented by Jason B. Speights, Todd Worrich and Joan M. Marron of Speights and Worrich in San Antonio. Jefferson County District Court case number: A193-545.
• Reyna Trejo of 3740 Parkway Drive in Nederland alleges Foremost County Mutual Insurance Co. and Charles Bigler denied her claim for roof and water damages caused to her property after a wind and hailstorm struck on June 6, 2011. Trejo will be represented by Jason B. Speights, Todd Worrich and T. Nicole Littles of Speights and Worrich in San Antonio. Jefferson County District Court case number: D193-546.
