A man has filed suit against the driver who he claims struck his vehicle.

Alejandro Ceja claims he was driving near the 1200 block of Houston Avenue in Port Arthur on June 23 when defendant Christopher Alan Bloodworth collided with his vehicle.

Because of the collision, Ceja sustained injuries, incurred medical costs, lost wages and his earning capacity and experienced physical pain and mental anguish, according to the complaint filed Dec. 6 in Jefferson County District Court. He also experienced physical impairment, the suit states.

In his complaint, Ceja is seeking a judgment within the jurisdictional limits of Jefferson County District Court, plus pre- and post-judgment interest at the legal rate, costs and other relief the court deems just.

John A. Carwile of The Law Offices of John A. Carwile in Houston will be representing him.

The case has been assigned to Judge Donald Floyd, 172nd District Court.

Case No. E193-676
