Gulf Coast Marine seeks payment for delivered goods

Gulf Coast Marine has filed suit against Versatile Marine Services, seeking to recover payment for delivered goods worth more than $133,000.

The suit was filed April 23 in Jefferson County District Court.

According to the lawsuit, Gulf Coast Marine is an oilfield company providing services to drilling contractors and gas well operators.

At Versatile’s request, Gulf Coast Marine delivered goods and services.

“GCM has fully performed all conditions … with defendant,” the suit states. “However, defendant has failed to pay GCM as agreed.”

The amount owed is $133,072.75, the suit states.

The suit further accuses the defendant of breaching its contract.

Gulf Coast Marine is suing for compensatory damages, plus attorney’s fees and court costs.

Houston attorney Jeffery Kaiser of Eliott Greenleaf represents the company.

Judge Bob Wortham, 58th District Court, is assigned to the case.
