An agreed order for dismissal with prejudice has been granted in a suit brought by a man unhappy with his mower.
As previously reported, Leigh Green filed suit against Husqvarna Construction Products North America on June 1, 2012, in Jefferson County District Court, alleging the Dixon Mower she purchased is a “worthless piece of junk.”
The order for dismissal was entered on Jan. 3, court papers say.
The petition alleged that in January 2011 Green and her husband purchased a Dixon Mower. One of the advertised selling points was the mower’s electric left deck.
“Since plaintiff purchased the mower … the deck lift has failed multiple times rendering the equipment worthless and a piece of junk,” the suit states, adding that Husqvarna manufactured and marketed a defective product.
Green claimed she has suffered loss of use in the amount of $2,500.
She also claimed to have suffered mental anguish damages.

Judge Milton Shuffield, 136th District Court, presided over the case.
