Renaissance Hospital sued for not paying for security services

S&S Investigations and Securities has filed suit against Renaissance Hospital Groves, seeking to collect $40,000 for services rendered.

The suit was filed July 18 in Jefferson County District Court.

According to the lawsuit, on Nov. 16 the parties entered into an agreement, wherein S&S provided security services for Renaissance for one year’s time.

“The defendant … has breached this agreement and as of July 1, 2013, owes the plaintiff the sum of approximately $40,000,” the suit states.

The plaintiff is suing for actual and consequential damages.

Beaumont attorney Dan Ducote Jr. of Moore Landrey represents it.

Judge Bob Wortham, 58th District Court, is assigned to the case.
