Seeking to recover a $17,000 debt, BankcorpSouth Bank has filed suit against Ronda Marie Fraley.
The suit was filed Aug. 8 in Jefferson County District Court.
According to the lawsuit, on Aug. 3, 2006, plaintiff entered into a note wherein defendant loaned her $21,926.80 for the purchase of a Nissan Pathfinder.
On Nov. 27, 2007, plaintiff entered into a second note and was loaned an additional $8,908.58.
“Defendant defaulted on payments to plaintiff in January 2012,” the suit states. “Plaintiff has made demands for payment which defendant has failed and refused to pay.”
The balance owing on the notes is $17,090.68.
The plaintiff accuses the defendant of breaching her contract.
The plaintiff is suing for the amount owed, plus, interest, attorney’s fees and court costs.
Houston attorney Charles Pignuolo of Delvin & Pignuolo represents the plaintiff.
Judge Donald Floyd, 172nd District Court, is assigned to the case.
